MEET GENESIS
Genesis Archer, is an American singer, songwriter, actress, and motivational speaker. She was born in Jacksonville, FL on May 28, 1983. Genesis has been singing and writing since the tender age of 10. While most 10 year old children are busy playing, Genesis was finding her purpose. Much of this is attributed to her parents who are both musically inclined. Her parents raised her in church where Acapella music is sang. There Genesis song with her church youth chorus, and at age 17 she became the Directress of The Northside Church Of Christ Youth Chorus(N.Y.C). She also became a member of the world renowned Total Praise Ensemble, under the direction of Andrew Daniels III. Her Parents also kept her enrolled in performing art schools where she was able to excel in creative arts and music. You can see now how vocal harmony is ingrained in her DNA. Her parents, church, vocal mentors, and exposure to various musical genres have been her most influential inspiration musically. There are several renown artists, both secular and gospel, whose style and genre has also played a great influence in her musical style. Genesis prides herself on being able to infuse Neo Soul, Jazz, Blues, Reggae and Gospel to create such a unique sound which appeals to the masses. She is Married to Mark Archer and share 4 children Layla, Mason, Madison, and Mateo.
Being passionate about her gift in music and a visionary entrepreneur, she thought to create an authentic, creative and harmonic sound like no other. From her vision, L.I.V.E. was born in 2012. This Acapella band now consist of 8 members: Ashley Lewis, Amie Timely, David Lewis, Lashonda Kinney, Doug Tunsil, and Philip Settles and Genesis as the lead singer and songwriter. Former member are Ryan Beneby, Ture Mack, and Matthew Johnson from the VOICE. This Acapella band brings such a vibe that will captivate your soul. Their harmony is mesmerizing and their love of the craft is uplifting. The lyrics are relevant and stirs the emotion of all who hear it. Their voices mesh so well together, it’s hard to believe that there are no mechanical musical instruments being used. Genesis has collaborated and performed with many other well known artist over the years. Though she has a love for Acapella music, she is no stranger to other musical singing styles as a vocalist.

(2021 - Current) Official anthem singer for the Jax Melanin Market) Genesis has also performed as a solo artist and for various events in and around the city of Jacksonville as well as around the country.

In 2012, Genesis was nominated for several prestigious CAMA Awards (Christian Acapella Music Awards), which included: New Artist of the Year, Album of the Year, Artist of the Year, and Female Artist of the Year. Genesis performed on the New Artist Showcase and the Saturday Night “Live” Show of the CAMA Awards. In 2014 she won Artist Of the year at the CAMA. Also, in 2016, she won Best Female vocalist of the year. In 2019 Genesis won Female Vocalist Of The Year on an international platform at the 2019 Acapella Awards. In, 2022, Genesis was a nominee for Artist of the Year at the NACAMA Awards.
Genesis has produced her single CD entitled, “Family,” and her newest debut CD project, “I’m A Soldier,” which was released in 2012. This new CD was recorded and co-produced by Mr. Frank Cleveland, a renowned songwriter and musician of both stage and screen.
She has also Collaborated with various artists.
